This September, Dorsch Gallery will open three solo shows, which gather the artists Peter Barret, Amanda Burnham and Michelle Hailey.
Peter Barrett will present “Ergo Gnomic,” a wall installation and painted sculptures in which the artist explores a territory between several opposites: sacred geometry and pop-culture psychedelia, organic and geometric patterns in nature, Tantric art and computer art. Barrett has an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. He lives and works in upstate NY.

For “Between the Valleys,” New York-based Michelle Hailey will present large-scale canvases, which balance vivid color, crisp composition, and a wry sense of humor. Hailey received her MFA from Hunter College in New York and a BA from University of California Los Angeles.
