Bunny Yeager was one of the most-sought-after models in Miami in the 1950s and 60s; an ideal of beauty and perfection that contributed to defining the tastes and lifestyle of those decades. Her photos in daring poses and her risqué bikinis excited the masculine public at a time when eroticism was much more subtle than it is today.

Yeager was a standout not only as a model, but also as one of the most popular pin-up photographers of the 20th century. She created her own style and among her best-known works worthy of note are Ursula Andress’ famous bikini shoot on the set of Dr. No and the 1955 Playboy Christmas picture that catapulted Bettie Page to stardom. Yeager earned a spot in a field traditionally dominated by men. This exhibition covers a wide spectrum of her career, from the 1950s to now, including several self-portraits, and an extensive portfolio of photos that bear witness to the lifestyle and fashion of the 1950s and 1960s. The exposition also includes photos from her first photo shoot in 30 years. Through October 6, 2013.
