Cuban painter Rafael Soriano (1920-2015) was a master of geometric abstraction and an acclaimed figure in the 20^th-century art world. The Frost Museum of Art opens on November 4 “The Artist as Mystic,” a show that features more than ninety paintings, pastels, and drawings. The works come from the Rafael Soriano Family Collection, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Art Museum of the Americas, and Long Beach Museum of Art as well as other collections.
